Lenga Ugaidi Na Talanta (LUNT) is a program under Epuka Ugaidi Organization that seeks to channel youth creativity and energy in the fight against radicalization and violent extremism
through use of sports, art, music, short films and poetry. The program targets young people under the age of 35 years. It aims to sensitize the youth and the public at large against radicalization and violent extremism.

The youth, in nature, are susceptible to radicalization and as such, the need to be equipped with enough knowledge necessary to protect them against falling prey of extremist groups ideologies.
Since its genesis, LUNT has had 5 annual competitions
In its 5th season in 2021, the competition reached out to over 1 million people in Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Uganda. Cumulatively, LUNT has given awards worth over 150,000 USD
These awards aimed to sustain the talents of the young artists in the effort of ensuing continuity in spreading messages of tolerance, peace and cohesion.
Aside from the annual competition, Lenga Ugaidi na Talanta engages in physical and hybrid community outreaches and research to assess levels of public knowledge, awareness and interests on matters revolving around countering violent extremism. These engagements give experts and the local communities a platform to participate and expound knowledge on preventing and countering violent extremism.
